Technical Issues with Ordering (Error Explanations)

Encountered an error while Infinity tried to place an order for you? Here’s what each message means and how to resolve it.

Common Ordering Errors and How to Fix Them

1. “Account Login Failed”

Meaning:

Infinity was unable to log into your Amazon account to place an order on your behalf.

Fix:

Follow these three checks:

  1. Verify your credentials:

Ensure your Amazon email, password, and TOTP (2FA) are entered correctly under:

https://www.infinitybot.io/dashboard/accounts

Sections: Amazon Account Information, Billing Information, Payment Information.

  1. Disable Passkey Login:

On Amazon → Account → Login & Security → PasskeyDelete any existing passkeys.

  1. Set Authenticator as Primary 2FA:

On Amazon → Account → Login & Security → Two-Factor Authentication → Primary Method → choose your authenticator app (Authy or Google Authenticator).

Passkeys and SMS 2FA methods can cause automated login failures. Always use TOTP and make sure it is the primary method.

2. “Internal Error”

Meaning:

Either Amazon or Infinity is experiencing a temporary outage.

Fix:

Please manually retry in a bit our systems automatically recover as soon as the issue is resolved.

No action is needed from your end. This is a temporary technical issue.

3. “No Matching Shipping Options”

Meaning:

Amazon cannot ship the item to your buyer’s address due to regional restrictions.

Example: a product that violates California Proposition 65 cannot ship to a California address.

Fix:

Send the item to yourself first, then to your customer.

Some chemicals, supplements, and restricted materials trigger this error.

4. “Order Probably Placed”

Meaning:

Infinity detected an incomplete confirmation from Amazon: the order might have gone through successfully.

Fix:

Log in to your Amazon account → Orders and check if it was placed.

If you don’t see it, contact Amazon Support to verify there are no purchasing restrictions on your account.

This often happens when Amazon requires extra verification or when payment limits are reached.

5. “Item Not Supported”

Meaning:

The product can only be purchased through an Amazon Business Account, standard personal accounts can’t buy it.

Fix:

Select another product, or if you have a verified Amazon Business account, connect that instead.

6. “Invalid Product ID”

Meaning:

The item no longer exists or has been removed from Amazon’s catalog.

Fix:

Reach out to your buyer to suggest an alternative product, or manually locate a similar replacement on Amazon to fulfill the order.

Infinity removes invalid listings automatically from your future lead pool.

6. “No error shows on the dashboard

Meaning:

Either your auth token has expired or you're out of tokens.

Fix:
