Technical Issues with Listing (Error Explanations)

Common Listing Errors and Their Meanings

1. “Item is VERO”

Meaning:

You attempted to list an item from a VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) brand.

These brands restrict third-party sellers from listing their products, and eBay will remove such listings.

Solution:

Avoid VeRO brands entirely. Infinity automatically blocks these items to protect your account.

VeRO violations can lead to listing removals or account suspensions.

2. “Unhandled Error Occurred”

Meaning:

We are replenishing the lead pool: temporarily no items are available for listing.

Solution:

Please wait a few minutes while new leads are added. You’ll be able to resume listing shortly.

This is a temporary system refresh: no action required on your end.

3. “Item Exceeds Max Listing Price”

Meaning:

The item you’re trying to list costs over $170 on Amazon.

High-value items often attract problematic buyers (e.g., “item not received” claims).

Solution:

Select another item under $170. Infinity automatically blocks these listings to protect you from potential return fraud.

4. “Listing This Item Will Put You Over Your eBay Listing Limit”

Meaning:

eBay imposes monthly limits on new sellers. You’ve reached the cap on either:

  • Number of items listed
  • Total sales value allowed per month

Solution:

Wait until your next monthly reset or request a limit increase from eBay directly in Seller Hub → Monthly Limits.

5. “This Title Violates eBay’s Listing Policy”

Meaning:

The item’s title includes prohibited words or formatting that violates eBay’s title rules.

Solution:

Edit your product title and remove restricted terms or formatting symbols before retrying.

Titles must accurately describe the product and comply with eBay’s keyword policies.

6. “Auth Token is Invalid”

Meaning:

Your eBay authorization token has expired or been revoked.

Solution:

  1. Go to your Infinity dashboard → https://www.infinitybot.io/dashboard/accounts
  2. Under “eBay Account Information”, click Reconnect
  3. Approve the connection again on eBay’s authorization page

Once reconnected, your listings will resume normally.
